Low-Cost Carbon Nanotubes Photodetectors Project Starts!

“Low-Cost Carbon Nanotubes Photodetectors ($CNTPD)” project is officially starting today with a budget of 180,000€ as stated in no. 157446/I2/21.9.2018 financing decision of General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT).

The project aims towards the fabrication of low-cost single pixel electronic detectors based on Multi-Wall Carbon Nano-Tubes (MWCNTs) and semiconductor manufacturing techniques with the best possible performance when measuring radiation outside the visible spectra and to pave the way towards simple and easily implemented commercial applications.
